Why We Started Xerini
For twenty years, we built systems for investment banks. Real-time trading platforms. Risk management systems. Data pipelines that handled billions of pounds every day.
These weren't systems that could crash and get fixed on Monday. They had to work. Every time. With zero margin for error.
Then we looked at how most businesses handle their data.
Spreadsheets emailed back and forth. Systems that don't talk to each other. Staff spending half their week copying numbers from one screen to another. Consultants charging a fortune to produce strategy decks that never become reality.
We thought: we can do better than this.

Jon Williams
Founder & Director
Jon spent over 20 years in investment banking technology, building systems at UBS, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan. His speciality: real-time market data platforms that supported billions of dollars of trades every day.
When your platform handles live trading data for a global investment bank, "it'll be fixed by Monday" isn't an option. That experience shaped how Jon approaches every project at Xerini - with rigour, reliability, and zero tolerance for systems that don't deliver.
At Xerini, Jon leads client relationships and ensures every project is grounded in practical outcomes, not theoretical frameworks.
Alex Luketa
Founder & Director
Alex is a software consultant with over 14 years building systems for Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse. He's the technical architect behind many of Xerini's most complex implementations.
While still in finance, Alex was already working with AI and machine learning - including an innovative in-car safety app that used ML to improve road safety. That early experience with practical AI applications informs Xerini's approach: AI should solve real problems, not just impress in demos.
At Xerini, Alex leads technical delivery and ensures every solution is built to last, not just built to launch.
Simon Burgess
Founder & Director
Simon spent over 20 years as a technology leader in investment banking, running multi-functional teams across cash management, corporate treasury, and financial control at Morgan Stanley.
He didn't just build systems - he led the teams that built them. After heading up technology for Morgan Stanley's regulatory control and reporting teams in EMEA, Simon established their cloud-based SaaS offerings across Asia and North America.
At Xerini, Simon brings operational discipline and a focus on scalability. He ensures that what we build doesn't just work today - it grows with your business.
